This is a good weekend to be in the market for a new cellphone. My contract with T-Mobile is up this month and I'm currently exploring other options. Despite the elegance of Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7, I'm sticking with Android for the foreseeable future. I like the Android integration with Gmail, Google Calendar, and the various other Google apps. The reason this is a great weekend for cellphone shopping is all the 1-cent Android phones available from Amazon. Most of the penny cellphone selection is from AT&T, but there are also penny phones from a number of other vendors. The Samsung Fascinate, a phone currently among my top choices, is $39.99.
