Folder Lock

NewSoftwares.net, Inc. has released version 5.2.5 of their award-winning and feature-rich security tool for the Windows XP/2000/NT/Me/98/95 platforms, a software tool designed to password-protect files, folders, and drives from unauthorized users.

Folder Lock takes a fresh approach to file security, and lets PC users lock, hide, encrypt and password-protect any number of files, folders, drives, pictures and documents in seconds. Files can also be protected on USB Flash Drives, Memory Sticks, CD-RW, floppies and notebooks. Protection works even if files are taken from one PC to another on a removable disk, without the need to install any software.

Additional Options include Stealth Mode, Hacker Attempt Monitoring, Shred files, AutoLock, Auto Shutdown PC, Lock your PC, Erase PC tracks, 256-bit Blowfish Encryption and Context Menu in Explorer. Folder Lock works on all types of disk drives like FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and EFS.

Changes in Version 5.2.5 of Folder Lock include: Availability in five languages (English, French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish); an enhanced uninstall; and the ability to put a lock on multiple files easily by clicking the 'Another' button once you've locked a folder.

Folder Lock is priced at $39.95(US) for a single user license and may be downloaded and purchased. Multi-user licenses, site license and academic licenses are also available.
