Dave needs a name for music that isn't associated with RIAA labels. Why not, RIAA-Free? Maybe there should be a license used by musicians to offer make this stuff available? The real trick isn't the copyright holders, although they'll be the point men for an attack. ASCAP and BMI will come down with a vengenance if you use any songs falling under their jurisdiction. Someone needs to launch a rights clearinghouse to sign up bands who want promotion through any means possible.
