My brother had an interesting thought about the new iPod Photo players. The album art support makes them a perfect vehicle for delivering visual advertising in the context of podcasts. If a 30 minute show is one big file, the same advertising message could be imbedded for the entire show, or create a playlist of smaller files, each with their own album art advertisement. In theory, the same album art display already works on Pocket PC and SmartPhone devices with Windows Mobile Media Player 10, as well as the Portable Media Center devices. Most standard tag editors support album art, so adding the image files shouldn't be too hard for the average podcaster.
