StudioLine Photo Basic imports photos directly from your digital camera or storage card, storing them in a database similar to competitors like Picasa or Adobe Album. Supports both IPTC and Exif to provide detailed access to all aspects of image tagging. You can define keywords and descriptions for each photo, build categories and generally micromanage your images to your heart's content. A built-in suite of tools for auto-correcting images, including red-eye remove and basic color correction are included as part of the package. Email images, print from within Photo Basic or upload Web galleries of specific images. One key advantage over using something like Picasa is a very open interface for uploading images from within the application. You're not locked into the Blogger/HELO world supported by Picasa.
