The Freedom headphones by Jaybird are wireless and bluetooth enabled to connect to your phone and mp3 player. Made for on the move athletes, these headphones are water and sweat resistant, stay put and give you hi-def stereo without tying you to your mp3 player or phone. If your phone or laptop is bluetooth enabled, it's easy to link them up and go. If your device does not have bluetooth, it's still easy to link them up. Included in the little kit is an adapter for iPods or if you have a different mp3 player, you can buy the nifty little adapter that will turn anything with a 3.5mm headphone jack into a bluetooth enabled device. And with a 10 meter (33 feet) range, you can roam around.

The best thing I like about these headphones is that if your listening to your music on your iPod and then get a call, the music pauses, you push a button on one ear piece, then you start talking. This also works the same with VoIP applications like Skype. The integrated microphone has Clear Voice Capture technology, making calls crisp and clear.

The only problems I've had with the Freedom headphones are that it's a bit weird to wear them with glasses. Either your glasses don't fit properly or the headphones don't. It's not a huge problem, but it might take a little getting used to. The other problem I've encountered is the buttons. You have to push the buttons pretty hard and it usually requires 2 hands: one to hold the ear piece in place, and the other to push the button. If you're dexterous enough, you can manage it with one hand. It just seems like a lot of work for something that's supposed to be so great for people on the move. I mean, if I'm out cycling and I get a call and I need to push the button, I might have to stop to answer it in order to not get too distracted from the task at hand and fall over. Then again, I'm not particularly coordinated in the first place.
