AMP Font Viewer
The Fonts folder in Windows is one of the overlooked relics unchanged in more than ten years of Windows evolution. Sure, Microsoft has added ClearType support and OpenType compatibility, but the folder where fonts are managed is suffering from arrested development. There's no font management to speak of. If you want to browse the fonts in the folder, you need to double click each file to see the preview or install an additional application. AMP Font Viewer fills that second role, providing a quick preview of every font in the folder, while also allowing you to browse fonts that aren't currently installed. The viewer will handle installing and uninstalling fonts, while also supporting a temporary install feature to keep system memory from being wasted by extra fonts you rarely need.
