Symantec is the company that makes all the Norton products. While they've gotten much better overall, there are instances where it can be tricky to remove Norton from your computer. While they claim it's for corrupted installs, it actually works great for simply removing Norton software from your computer without any hassles. According to Symantec, the tool works with Norton 2009/2008/2007/2006/2005/2004/2003 products, Norton 360 and Norton SystemWorks 12.0, which covers most of the apps you might still find in the wild.
